On one of our trips to Wyoming I was fortunate enough to photograph some Trumpeter swans.
This little threesome of Trumpeters was swimming across a secluded pond, the pond reflected the warm colors of the autumn leaves that surrounded the pond.
I have a special place in my heart for swans, and Trumpeter swans in particular.
Hunted to the brink of extinction in the early days of the country, the feathers were used for
robs, and shawls, they have made an amazing come back due to the efforts of places like "The trumpeter swan society" and "The Wyoming wetlands society", both of which have web sites you can visit to learn more, or to donate to their cause.
Thanks for looking, have a great day!!!
